    • A visit is worthwhile in any case. Not as big as other wax museums, but very lovingly made. The figures are very lovingly staged and partly very lifelike […]

    • This wax figure cabinet is just great. For children and young people, there are different riddles to solve. And everyone else could inform themselves by “phone”. Highly recommend!!

    • Absolutely brilliant! Some figures seemed so real, that one was afraid that they would start to move any second. In addition, the space was used very well despite the narrowness.

    • Here you can meet many famous people with fun and curiosity. Great works of art. Belongs to Hamburg and is a must-see.

    • […] We found the movie about the making of the figures and the medical exhibits interesting. We didn’t have to queue with the online tickets, despite the summer vacation peak season.

    • Always worth a visit and provides interesting information. I liked Angela Merkel the best. The staff is super nice and helpful.

      Our latest addition: ed sheeran

On Thursday, the 13th of July 2023 songwriter Ed Sheeran was released in the Panoptikum. From now on he will be on display in the wax figure museum on Hamburg’s famous Reeperbahn and will patiently pose for selfies with visitors.

Since the fall of 2022, sculptor Lisa Büscher and her team have been working together on the figure in her studio in Berlin. It is her first figure for the Panoptikum and also her first work in wax.

Panoptikum director Susanne Faerber is very pleased with the result. “I find the facial expressions and the pose of the figure particularly successful.”

Our favorite star in the Panoptikum? You!
